For Dr. Kim-Oanh Ton, optometry is more than just providing clear vision—it’s about building meaningful relationships with her patients and understanding their unique visual needs. Born and raised in South Florida, she pursued her passion for health and vision at the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
During her training, Dr. Ton completed externships at NSU Health and the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, where she gained experience in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. Her expertise also includes soft contact lens fittings, with a specialization in complex multifocal and toric lenses for patients with unique vision needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ton enjoys staying active, spending time with family, and continuously expanding her knowledge in optometry to bring the latest advancements to her patients.
